Get a real answer from catch-all domains.
Many company mail servers say yes to every address, real or not. A normal check stops there. BounceOwl spots catch-all domains, remembers them, and runs a deeper check only when you ask.

How it works
- 1
Spot it
Every regular check also tries a made-up address at the same domain. If the server accepts it, the domain is catch-all.
- 2
Remember it
We note the domain for 7 days, so the next address there is marked catch-all right away, for free.
- 3
Answer it, on demand
Run the catch-all check on the addresses you care about. Clear answers come back as valid or bounce; unclear ones are refunded.
Why it matters
- Catch-all hides bad addresses
- A server that accepts everything can still bounce the message later. Sending blind to those addresses is how verified lists still bounce.
- You choose where to spend
- The deeper check is never automatic. Run it on one address, selected rows, or every catch-all row in a list.
- Refunds when it can't decide
- Clear valid or invalid answers cost 5 credits. Anything unclear, or no answer within 30 minutes, gives the credits back.
- Recent answers are free
- If the same address got a clear catch-all answer in the last 7 days, you get it free.
Questions
What is a catch-all domain?
A domain whose mail server accepts mail for any address, real or made up, and sorts it out later. Normal checks can't tell real mailboxes apart there.
How much does the catch-all check cost?
5 credits per address, charged only for a clear answer. Unclear answers are refunded.
Do I need it for every address?
No. Run the regular check on everything, then the catch-all check only on results marked catch-all.
How long does it take?
Usually a few minutes. If there's no answer within 30 minutes, the result is unknown and the credits come back.
