Buying credits
Buy a credit pack or any amount from 1,000 to 2,000,000 credits. Pay as you go, no subscription, and credits never expire.
BounceOwl is pay as you go. You buy credits once, they go into a single pool, and every check, list, API call and MCP request draws from it. There is no subscription to cancel, and credits never expire.
What a credit buys
- 1 credit for each real answer from a live check.
- 5 credits for each clear answer from a catch-all check.
- Unknown results, invalid syntax, domains with no mail server, and addresses anyone on BounceOwl checked in the last 7 days are free. See Why a result was free.

These are the current packs. The pricing page and the Billing page always show the latest prices.
Buy a pack
- Open Billing from the sidebar.
- Under Add credits, click the pack you want.
- Pay on the Stripe checkout page.
- You return to Billing. Your credits appear within a few seconds, and the new balance shows at the top of the page.
If you close checkout without paying, you return to Billing with a note that nothing was charged.
Buy any amount
You don't have to pick a pack. You can buy any amount from 1,000 to 2,000,000 credits at $1.50 per 1,000 credits. Packs are cheaper, so pick the pack that covers what you need when you can.
- In Billing, under Add credits, find Or choose any amount.
- Type the number of credits you want.
- The button shows the total, for example Buy for $15.00 for 10,000 credits. Click it to go to checkout.
Custom offers for larger volumes
For more than 2,000,000 credits, or if you need invoice terms, email us for a custom offer. In Billing, use the Ask for a custom offer link.
When we send you an offer, it appears at the top of Add credits as Your custom offer. It shows the credits, the price and, if it has one, the date it is available until. Click Buy this offer to pay for it.
When you run low
BounceOwl warns you when your balance is low. If a check or list needs more credits than you have, you see an out-of-credits screen with the same packs and amount options, so you can top up right away. For lists, you can also check only the first rows you can afford. See List credits and refunds.
