Invoices and receipts

Find invoices under Billing > Payments, open them or save a PDF, and read your credit history. Stripe also emails every receipt.

Every credit purchase comes with an invoice and a receipt. Payments are handled by Stripe, and you can find the invoice in BounceOwl or in your email.

Find an invoice in the app

  1. Open Billing from the sidebar.
  2. Scroll to Payments. This section appears once you have made your first purchase.
  3. Find the payment. Each row shows when it was paid, how many credits it added, and the amount.
  4. Click View invoice to open the invoice in a new tab, or PDF to get a PDF copy.

If the invoice column says Preparing, the invoice is not ready yet. Check back in a moment.

Receipts by email

Stripe also emails the receipt and invoice to the address you sign in with. That is the email address of the Google account you use for BounceOwl.

Track every credit

Below Payments, the Credit history table lists every change to your balance. Each row shows when it happened, what it was, the change in credits, and your balance afterwards. The entries you will see are:

EntryWhat it means
PurchaseCredits you bought.
Free creditsCredits added for free, such as the 100 credits every new account starts with.
CheckA check that used a credit.
Catch-all checkCredits used by a catch-all check.
List reservedCredits set aside when a list started.
ReturnedCredits that came back, for example the unused part of a list reservation.

For a per-address view, open History. The Credits column shows what each check used, or why it was free.

Cancelled or interrupted checkout

If you leave the Stripe checkout without paying, you return to Billing with the message Checkout cancelled. Nothing was charged. Your balance stays the same.

After a successful payment, you return to Billing with the message Payment received, and your credits appear within a few seconds.

Invoice terms and large volumes

If you need invoice terms or a large volume of credits, use the Ask for a custom offer link under Add credits in Billing. See Buying credits.
