Download results
Download a list's results as CSV, filtered by verdict, with your original columns plus BounceOwl's bo_ result columns.
When a list finishes, you can download the results as a CSV file. It contains your original columns plus BounceOwl's result columns, and it opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
Download a results file
- Open Lists and click the list name.
- Scroll to Download results.
- Click All rows for the whole file, or one verdict to get only those rows: Valid, Bounce, Catch-all or Unknown. Each button shows how many rows it contains.
A common choice is to download Valid for sending, and look at Catch-all separately.
The result columns
Each result column starts with bo_, so it is easy to tell apart from your own columns.
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
bo_verdict | valid, invalid, catch_all or unknown. Rows that were not checked show not_checked. |
bo_reason | Why the address got its verdict, such as a rejected mailbox or no mail server. |
bo_mailbox | The mailbox answer from the server. |
bo_mail_server | The mail server (MX host) for the domain. |
bo_provider | The mail provider or security gateway, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. |
bo_catch_all | true if the domain accepts every address. |
bo_role | true for a role address such as info@ or sales@. |
bo_disposable | true for a disposable inbox. |
bo_checked_at | When the address was checked. A result reused from the last 7 days keeps its original date. |
bo_catchall_check | The answer from a catch-all check, if you ran one. |
In the app an invalid address is labeled Bounce, but in the file it is invalid. See What the verdicts mean.
Files are deleted after 30 days
Uploaded files and their extra columns are deleted after 30 days. After that you can't download your original columns again. The check results themselves stay in History, where you can search by exact email or domain and filter by verdict.
Download the files you need within 30 days of uploading.
Download from the API
Developers can fetch list results with GET /v1/bulk/{id}/results. See the API docs.
